NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A Franklin man has been arrested after he pulled a knife on another driver because the driver's rear windshield sprayer sprayed his vehicle.
Police say the road rage arrest took place last Thursday afternoon in front of a church on Oak Meadow Drive. The incident started near Centennial High School after 56-year-old John Hunsinger became upset about his car being sprayed.
Hunsinger opened the blade of a knife and threatened the occupants of the vehicle, following them to the church. Once there, Hunsinger blocked in the victim's car. Officers arrived and intervened just as Hunsinger was approaching the victim.
Hunsinger is charged with aggravated assault. If convicted, he could serve up to six years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. He has since been released on $7,500 bond and is due in court on April 27th.
