Friday Night Rivals Week 2: Bingham dominates Herriman 45-0

(KUTV) Bingham and Herriman collided in week 2 of Friday Night Rivals. The Miners jumped out to a 28-0 lead and cruised to a 45-0 victory over Herriman. The Miners were led by quarterback Matt Degn, who threw three touchdown passes in the win and sparked the Miners to an early lead. Bingham's rushing attack was also dominant, scoring three times against an overwhelmed Mustangs defense.

Bingham broke the game wide-open in the second quarter with three unanswered touchdowns to take a 28-0 lead to the locker room. The Miners improved to 2-0 on the season and play at Lone Peak next Friday. In addition to Friday Night Rivals, Talkin' Sports covered several other games from around the state, including a big non-region battle between Fremont and Brighton.
