Utah troops in Afghanistan will get to see "Avengers: Endgame" thanks to Disney SEO Robert Iger, who responded to a request from the spouse of an Air Force airman.

Iger Tweeted:

We're going to get @Avengers Endgame to Al Udeid and Bagram next week! Thanks @KatAtDisney for suggesting this! @WaltDisneyCo honors, appreciates & respects our American men & women in the miliatary! [sic]

The Utah National Guard responded to Iger on Twitter saying:

Our troops in Afghanistan will have the chance to see Avengers: Endgame thanks to @KatAtDisney's suggestion, and @RobertIger's support and patriotism. Thank you @WaltDisneyCo for looking after our troops!

The woman who initially suggested Disney show the film to troops says those who are deployed overseas often miss out on cultural momemnts.

@KatAtDisney said:

I’m overwhelmed by this gesture and my heart is full. So often our deployed members are left out of cultural moments while they risk their lives for us.
This gift from the @WaltDisneyCo is sure to bring sheer joy and a small moment of escape from the realities of war. Thank you.
