Fire crews douse flames of Curly Springs Fire near Dry Canyon trailhead

Firefighters from Pleasant Grove, together with members from the U.S. Forest Service, gained control of the Curly Springs Fire that burned near the Dry Canyon trailhead.

Crews placed lines around the fire and were able to gain control.

The Curly Springs Fire burned approximately two acres.

The fire started overnight above Lindon, Utah and burned in grass and brush.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
