A Utah man is alive after being buried by an avalanche near Logan, Utah.

Codie Nelson, 43, was riding his snow bike on Friday when the hillside gave way and pulled him down the mountain.

"I came to the realization this is it. I'm done. I said some goodbyes. Then I heard this Johnny get on the radio and said 'Cody, we're coming for you buddy,'" Nelson said.

Nelson's friends used beacons and poles to find him buried under three feet of snow.

It took them 30 minutes to dig him out.

Nelson didn't suffer any major injuries.

This happened the same day a 31-year-old man was killed in an avalanche near Park City.
