A convicted felon was arrested in Davis County after fleeing from police with a stolen shotgun, court documents state.

On April 14, a police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop after spotting a shattered windshield on a vehicle.

The driver of the car in question, later identified as 28-year-old Thomas Michael Rudolph, fled from the officer. He sped at 90 mph in a 35 mph zone while driving into coming traffic and running red lights.

Assisting officers spiked Rudolph's tires. Court documents state his vehicle was struck by several police cars before coming to a complete stop.

Police found a stolen shotgun out of Weber County in Rudolph's possession.
