Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has just been named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year, for the second year in a row.

Gobert led the league in blocks with 2.6 per game. He also averaged 16 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Gobert is known as one of the league's best, if not THE best rim defender, altering shots and doing many things that don't appear on a stat sheet.

Gobert also broke the NBA record for most dunks in a season with 306, shattering Dwight Howard's record of 269 which he set in the 2007-08 season with Orlando.
