Salt Lake City TSA canine included in annual calendar

The Transportation Security Administration has released their canine calendar for 2022 featuring 12 dogs, including one Utah dog.

Local canine Marty is a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who works at Salt Lake City International Airport as one “of the agency’s most photogenic explosive detection working canines.”

According to TSA officials, Marty lives on a farm with other animals is already training to be a farmer after retirement.

His adorable face is featured in the month of March in the calendar.

Every month of the calendar spotlights a different working TSA canine from different parts of the country.

Traveling tips and fun facts about TSA and the canines are also included throughout.

This year’s calendar is celebrating 20 years of TSA. It can be downloaded for free here.
