Search and rescue crews in Summit County say they are still searching for Carl Crumrine, who was last seen on Oct. 14.

Crumrine, 68, is from West Virginia, and went missing while hunting with a group in the Lyman Lake area of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

The search was scaled back after a week of scouring the area for Crumrine, but it hasn't stopped.

Concern for Crumrine's well-being has grown due to weather conditions in the Uintas, including a spat of record cold temperatures near the end of October.

Summit County Search and Rescue teams returned from the Blacks Fork area on Thursday, where they had continued to search for the missing hunter. The Utah Department of Public Safety also lent a helicopter to the search efforts.

To date, searchers have not reported finding any sign of the man.
