WASATCH COUNTY (KUTV) -- A man and his son are safe after getting stuck in the snow while snowmobiling in the Clyde Creek area near Strawberry Reservoir Saturday night.
After a 62-year-old man and his 14-year-old son became stuck and unable to free their snowmobiles, they began to hike the road in the area.
Since the snow was chest deep, they stopped and built a fire and called 911.
Wasatch County Search and Rescue teams were deployed to the area and began their search in blizzard conditions.
New snowfall was estimated to be already at 12 inches in the parking lot.
Search and rescue teams quickly located the pair with help from GPS coordinates from the 911 call.
No injuries were reported.
