Spanish Fork toddler falls out of 2-story window, suffers severe head injury

UPDATE: (June 12, 11:30 a.m.) -- The parents said Wednesday morning that their son is doing “remarkably well," reported Spanish Fork Police Lt. Brandon Anderson.

Doctors say he does not need surgery and is in stable condition. The boy is still at the hospital where he is continuing to be monitored his head and spinal injuries, Anderson said.

A 3-year-old boy fell out of a second-story window onto a cement driveway on Tuesday.

Spanish Fork Fire Department Lt. Brandon Anderson said the 13-foot fall happened just after 12 noon at 230 S. 750 West in Spanish Fork.

The child suffered a severe head injury. Emergency response crews rendered aid to the boy who was then transported to Primary Children’s Hospital by LifeFlight in critical condition.
