Crews are working to clean up the backyard of a Salt Lake City home after a tanker rolled onto the property and spilled oil.

According to the Salt Lake City Fire Department, the tanker was staged at a nearby construction site next to a large pile of gravel.

The 30-foot tanker, which was not attached to a truck at the time, somehow became loose. It rolled from an east parking lot across from North Campus Drive into the backyard of 66 N. Wolcott St. at approximately 3:20 a.m.

No one was hurt, but there is damage to the property.

It's unknown how much asphalt oil spilled into the yard.

Crews say there is no concern about the oil igniting at this time.

Officials will be on scene for several hours.
