Teen in custody after drive-by shooting in Riverdale

(KUTV) -- A teenager was arrested after the Riverdale Police Department responded to reports of a drive-by shooting Friday.

The incident occurred in the area of 4400 South 700 West.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in his lower extremities, Riverdale police stated in a press release.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Detectives at the scene reported that the shooting was gang related.

Isacc Fazzio, 18, was booked into the Weber County Jail for attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a restricted person, unlawful discharge of a firearm and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, the police department reported.
