VIDEO: Long-duration snowfall in Utah expected through Saturday, ski resort openings

Solitude Ski Resort is expecting 35 inches of snow from the storm that is making it possible for the resort to open Friday.

A very potent storm system is expected to bring long-duration snowfall to Utah today through Saturday.

Snowfall amounts may be significant, particularly in the mountains. Accumulations of 1- to 3-feet is likely.
