One person has died following a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on SR-87 north of Duchesne, Utah.
The crash happened just four miles north of Duchesne, on SR-87 near milepost 4 at approximately 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday.
A 59-year-old Colorado man was directing a co-worker who was operating a semi-truck and backing up on SR-87 at the 6000 South intersection.
A semi-truck traveling north on the Highway did not see the person directing traffic and hit him.
The man died at the scene. Police said he was not wearing any reflective clothing.
Both directions of SR-87 were closed for approximately two hours while officers investigated the crash.
