Morning talk show "Fox and Friends" was blasted on Twitter Sunday morning after a graphic stated: "Trump cuts U.S. aid to 3 Mexican countries."
The Fox News hosts were referring to news that President Trump wanted to cut U.S. aid to Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.
Mexico, which is only one country, was not part of the plan.
Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras are Central American countries and only Guatemala shares a border with Mexico.
The lower-third graphic was only up on screen for a few seconds before the error was realized and the graphic was taken down.
But that was enough time for folks to screenshot the error and spread it on Twitter.
Fox news quickly apologized for the error and said it should never have happened.
