It was a sweet reunion for Utah National Guard members and their families as 15 soldiers arrived back home on Tuesday.
The members of the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment were scheduled to return home from Afghanistan on separate flights throughout the day, with the last of the group arriving at 3:06 p.m.
This was their third deployment to the U.S. Central Command, which saw them providing combat air support to ground forces in Afghanistan.
Those who arrived Tuesday were part of a larger contingent of nearly 300 people who deployed in May of last year. They started redeploying back home in October, and have come back in small groups since then. These 15 soldiers are the last of their unit to return home.
