A man who went camping in Daggett County is missing and the county's sheriff wants the public's help finding him.

Daggett County Sheriff Erik Bailey wants anyone who has had contact with 44-year-old Leonard Corby “Corb” Fisher to come forward.

Fisher was last seen camping in the Brown's Park area near the Utah-Wyoming-Colorado border sometime between March 31 and April 1.

On April 5, a deputy and two Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) conservation officers found Fisher's abandoned truck along with a campsite with several of Fisher's personal items, including firearms.

Officials also found a note which stated the truck would not start. Police, however, discovered the truck was in working condition.

With the help of a helicopter, crews searched for Fisher for several hours but didn't find anything.

The search was called off, Bailey says:

Due to current issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the county’s limited resources.

If you have been in contact with Fisher, or know anything about his whereabouts, call the Daggett County Sheriff’s Office at 435-784-3255 or Central Dispatch at 435-789-4222.
