NOTE: According to ESPN, Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will sit out tonight's game against the Utah Jazz.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said he will miss the Utah game and play against the San Antonio Spurs the following night. He said the franchise will determine Leonard's rest on a case-by-case basis, with no set plan to always rest the MVP on back-to-back games.

Leonard was drafted by the Spurs and blossomed into a star in San Antonio. He later was in dispute with the franchise about his health and was traded to Toronto where he played 60 games last season and won an NBA title as the NBA Finals guarantee.

The NBA requires a player sitting out a game to also list a body part or injury and the Clippers satisfied that requirement with "load management, knee."
