(KUTV) - The Utah Warriors clinched a playoff spot for the first time since the 2018 season in front of a sold out Zions Bank Stadium, despite falling to Rugby ATL 41-31 last Saturday night. Major League Rugby expanded their playoff picture to six teams before the start of the 2021 season, as Utah was able to snag the third and final spot out of the Western Conference and will draw the west-leading Los Angeles Giltinis at their playoff opener.

First up, the Utah Warriors will be back at home Saturday, July 17, as they host the Giltinis at the regular-season finale for both teams. Center Calvin Whiting joined Adam Mikulich on a Friday night edition of Talkin’ Sports to talk about both matches and the strides that have been made in Herriman this season.
