Weather forecast for Thursday morning, July 4, 2019:
Happy 4th of July! It's a perfect morning for our parades with clear skies and light winds. Things will change this afternoon as a cold front sweeps through northern Utah. Temperatures will run about 4-8 degrees below normal with a breezy NW wind. Scattered thunderstorms are possible between 3-9 p.m. Some of these thunderstorms could become strong as the atmosphere looks to be primed just enough to support SOME stronger storms in the afternoon. By firework time (10PM) most thunderstorm activity will have seized. Central and southern Utah will stay warm and sunny today with high fire danger. Temps look hotter as we get closer to the weekend.
